Abstract This paper presents the “Game Theory Explorer” software tool to create and analyze games as models of strategic interaction. A game in extensive or strate- gic form is created and nicely displayed with a graphical user interface in a web browser.
Game Theory, free game theory software downloads. The Real Option Valuation template provides a set of option pricing tools to quantify the embedded strategic value for a range of financial analysis and investment scenarios.
When dealing with conflicts, game theory and decision theory can be used to model the interactions of the decision-makers. To date, game theory and decision theory have received considerable modeling focus, while hypergame theory has not. A metagame, known as a hypergame, occurs when one player does not know or fully understand all the strategies of a game. For the new game solving software GTE, please follow this link Game Theory Explorer (GTE) to documentation and program (top-right link on that page). Market design involves a responsibility for detail, a need to deal with all of a mar- ket's complications, not just its principle features.
Game Theory is a branch of applied mathematics and used in various areas such as economics, politic sciences, biology, etc. This template provides 2 different equilibrium depending on different objectives: Nash Equilibrium (maximize gain) and Maximin Equilibrium (maximize the minimum gain).Read More

We present two simple search methods for computing a sample Nash equilibrium in a normal-form game: one for 2player games and one for n-player games. We test these algorithms on many classes of games, and show that they perform well against the state of the art-- the Lemke-Howson algorithm for 2-player games, and Simplicial Subdivision and Govindan-Wilson for n-player games.Read More

When game theory is used primarily as a conceptual tool, it is a great virtue to concentrate on very simple games (and even these can present formidable analytical difficulties.) When game theory is used to study empirical environments, simplicity of the models is a more nuanced virtue.Read More
